To create and build the dream. What is this dream?

It grows increasingly clear every day. I will find a way to combine Mountaineering and Jiu Jitsu, Wilderness, Food, and Farming. Threaded through all these disciplines will be mentorship and education.

I want people to have the opportunity to get a perspective in this realm. Many good lessons can be learned in all these spaces alike, lessons that make us better humans.

These spaces humble us, and I believe, show us strength and personal power. To understand what it means to be human, to be alive, to exist. It is a miracle, but how easy it is to overlook and take it for granted.

I have a condition that is causing me to go blind and deaf. It is wild. It is full of uncertainty and stirs up fear within me, but it also teaches me tremendous and profound lessons. It is for the lessons that I am grateful for this condition but every day I must work through, manage, and make sense of this sadness and pain.

The pain and struggle generate tremendous personal power and strength. Falling into darkness is no longer an option, I’ve been there. I’ve been there and know that I have work to do. I must go forward whether walking through darkness or light. It’s one foot in front of the other and we can make our way, no matter what.

I want to thank the mountains, jiu jitsu, farming, and wilderness. These four spaces have been my healing forces. I want to thank my family and my friends. I'm grateful for the things I do have in my life for I know that I can always be without. In any moment, everything can vanish, so I will simply be grateful for what I have right here and now.

Thank you for the magic of this moment. A beautiful, complicated, and miraculous world.
